BPW Online Programme for European Heritage Open Days 2020

This year’s EHOD has been transformed into a digital open day, with online content being available for everyone during the week (7 to 13 September 2020).

This year’s EHOD has been transformed into a digital open day, with online content being available for everyone during the week (European Heritage Open Days 2020).

Belfast Print Workshop is taking part of this event with three pieces by BPW member Josephine McCormick who is preparing a workshop about viscosity printmaking for Tuesday, discussing the technique’s discovery and showing some examples. On Thursday we will post a series of Cyanotype images,  including images of Cyanotypes based on the linen industry of Northern Ireland related to projects shown at the Linen Hall library 'Flax Field' exhibition as part of the Linen Biennale. Finally, on Saturday, we’ll upload a video discussing questions regarding paper and its properties and uses for print. This will include information about print-specific processes.
