Drypoint and Carborundum with Coby Moore
In this weekend workshop you will learn to work directly on the plate using a dry point needle. The line drawn by a dry point needle creates a burr. This gives the print its rich image. Using line and tone initially and adding to the image by using colour and carborundum which give additional creative effects, each day you will create original prints using professional printing paper and will take home a small edition of your handmade prints.
Come prepared with your ideas, sketches and photographs to explore this printing process. Every print pulled from the press is an original image created by the artist.
Our class sizes are limited and only payment secures your place - if online booking is not for you please don't worry - you can still book and pay for classes by cash or cheque in person at the workshop, contact us prior to visiting, by email to: [email protected] or telephone 02890 231 323.
