Drypoint Techniques

One Day Course

Drypoint engraving is an intaglio technique which can be combined with many other ways of printmaking. Any mark drawn with your tool which holds the ink on your plate will transfer its mark to the paper. Monoprints are made by applying ink to an even surface which will transfer its mark to paper.

On this one day course led by Coby Moore you will experiment with both drypoint and monoprint to add painterly marks with ink to make your unique edition of prints to take home. This course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience.

Our class sizes are limited to six and only payment secures your place - if online booking is not for you please don't worry - you can still book and pay for classes by cash or cheque in person at the workshop, contact us prior to visiting, by email to: [email protected] or telephone 02890 231 323.
