Images Need Apply Exhibition

Unique Collaboration with Craft NI

BPW and Craft NI are delighted to announce the selected artists for our collaborative exhibition, 'Images Need Apply'  to celebrate both Culture Night Belfast 2017, as well as the 40th Anniversary of Belfast Print Workshop! Join us from 4pm on Friday, 22 September!

‘Images Need Apply’ is an exhibition of contemporary craft that incorporates printing processes and techniques. Held in the Craft NI exhibition space, the show will open for Culture Night Belfast (September 23rd). The artists exhibiting will be:

Rachel Dickson
Alison Lowry
Karen Daye-Hutchison (work pictured)
Jodi Coyne
Alice Burns

Collectively working across a variety of materials including ceramics, glass and metal - their work highlights the interaction between image and object in creating meaning and narrative.

The five selected artists have been awarded a full day’s studio access at the Belfast Print Workshop to help them develop imagery or technical skills towards the work which will be on show.

We look forward to working with this talented group of makers and will keep you posted on progress on Instagram

The exhibition forms just part of the BPW's day of celebrations, details of which can be found via the link below
