'Printroduction' Workshop to accompany our exhibition

Let the ‘Graphic Editions’ exhibition at the Oriel Gallery inspire you to get creative, printing for yourself at this workshop facilitated by BPW artist Jonathan Brennan. 

This one-day workshop for beginners will explore the printmaking technique of linocut. You will learn how to plan, carve and print a black-and- white linocut print leaving equipped with the knowledge and skills to begin printing your own linocut prints at home. You will learn about choosing images suitable for linocut, working in negative and reverse, transferring your image, how to carve it, ink it, register and print using a baren or spoon. Participants will be encouraged to take inspiration from the works featured in the exhibition. All materials provided.

Special intro price of £45. Participants must be over 16.
