Season's Greetings from bpw

Wishing all our members, partners and friends a very happy Christmas and a creative New Year!

The workshop will be closed for Christmas day but will re-open for members access on the 26th. Visitors are welcome to stop by as usual Monday - Friday 9.30 - 5pm, except for January 1st.

2017 had some major highlights: We celebrated forty years of Belfast Print Workshop with our landmark 40 Cubed exhibition and events programme at the Crescent Arts Centre, opened the studio for Culture Night, Belfast Open Studios and the European Heritage Opens Days. Our talented members delivered a successful programme of workshops sharing their knowledge of both traditional and innovative print techniques. Always keen to connect with the wider art world, we were delighted to host Fiona Ní Mhaoilir as Artist in Residence and welcome visiting artists Nick Morley (aka Linocut Boy) and Anna Trojanowska to the studio. Working in partnership allowed brought some exciting collaborations - UsFolk, brought us the 'Rainbow Print Party' for Pride and Craft Northern Ireland put on 'Images Need Apply', an exhibition highlighting the relationship between object and imagery in various craft disciplines. And last but not least, every single day artists used the studio to create work which is what it's all about and long may it continue.

We're looking forward to bringing you another year of exhibitions, events, classes and all things print. Cheers to a creative new year everyone!
