Curator's comments:

Spotless is the word to use to describe to Kent Jones prints; technically spotless. The delicacy of the topic and colour palette of his work drew this etching to my attention. The silvery green colors he uses to represent the water makes me think that the female figure is in fact appearing from the grass but the beautiful marks of the water sparkles suggest a pool. I like to think that the woman is coming from the earth. Her gesture seems to be staring or waiting for someone that is no longer there, no longer on that chair. However, the colours he uses bring a beautiful atmosphere of peace instead of sadness.

There is a hint of a story behind this artwork and I love to play around with the interpretation of it.
